Question
Hi, I am going to Baja mexico in Jan. Water temp is around 66. I will be snorkeling. My hight is 5'6", weight between 120 to 125. Chest is 34, waist is 29, hips 35.5. Do you think this suit will be warm enought and what size would you recommend? Thanks!

Answer
This is a good suit for Baja in winter, and a great buy, too. You appear to be between a size 7 and nine, in which case we recommend going with the larger size -- 9.

Answer
You do not provide the other measurements such as hip and waist which you should check on the chart below the product description. However, it sounds as if you probably would be a size 11 since if you are between sizes, we recommend the larger size.

Question
I live on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia (Gulf Islands) -- Pacific Ocean. The water here is very cold all year long. I swim daily all seasons. What suit would you recommend for me? I would prefer an attached hood. It seems that if the mm weight is too heavy than it is hard to swim, too light and I am cold. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and 130 pounds. What size?
Thanks!

We looked at water temps for BC year-round -- 39F - 64F -- but for swimming, anything over 3mm is going to be pretty bulky. This is a 3/2mm suit which will give you more flexibility than a overall 2.5mm or 3mm suit. It also has an adjustable skin seal collar to minimize flushing, and it's made by Tilos an excellent wetsuit manufacturer. We recommend a size L or XL depending on what your other measurements are, chest, waist and hip. If you are between L and XL, we recommend you go up to XL. Also, our full suits do not have hood attached so you should buy that separately.

I'm looking for a suit to wear for an upcoming snorkel trip to Belize(warm water)-I get cold
quickly so think a full suit will be best. This looks like it would fit the bill? I'm 5'6" weigh
115 chest 34 waist 27 hips 34 size recommendation please.

Answer
These wetsuits are cut very tight, so we recommend a size 11 to be safe.

Question
I will be going on a trip to the Galapagos Islands in May 2012. I am 5'7" and weigh 125 lbs. What size would you recommend and would this suit be okay for the waters there?
Thank you.
|
Answer
The water temp there is 73F in May, so this suit should be ok -- you might even want a shorty, 2.5mm.
These suits are cut small, so it appears a size 11 would work for you, although without the other dimensions such as chest, waist and hip we cannot be absolutely sure.

Question
How would you compare the quality between this suit and The following suit: 2mm jumpsuit w/ super stretchin key areas- Womens (Black & Red). I need to decide between the 2. Also, the water temp should be~ 78 degrees, & i do get cold in the water. Would either suit be fine for this water temp? Last, I must receive suit by 1/9/11. should regular shipping be fine? Thanks!!
|
Answer
I would say both works fine for that temp. The red and black one is a bit more stretchy. The 2mm overall will be more easy to maneuver since it is thinner. As for the shipping, please let me know the location , so I can get you an accurate answer.
