Submited By: Mike Combs on 11/03/2009 The product, 2.5mm Shorty nylon II stretchy neoprene was the first wet suit I have ever used. I purchased it to use primarly in a community pool in Hawaii. The water temperature can be as low as 68 degrees. I am very pleased with its performance in regards to keeping my body warm. I found that the suit allowed complete range of motion, so I did not have to alter any of my strokes. An unexpected benefit has been its buoyancy. The only improvement in the product would be in the instruction on how to put the suit on. I had no one to help me put on the suit the first time I put it on. I was unable to close the zipper by myself, until I entered the water which allowed the zipper teather to float which allowed me to complete the process. I have received numberous positive comments from fellow pool swimmers about the style. The purchase price could be easily justified the $15/week savings I have experienced by not swimming in a heated pool. The on-line shopping experience with Seavenger.com was great.
