| Question |
My slim 6 year old is 40 lbs, 48 inches tall. What should I get that would fit this year and next summer as well?
|
| Answer |
Since we cannot predict how much your child will grow, it might be safer to go with the L just to be safe giving him or her 5" to spare.

| Question |
Excited to see you product. Seems to be just right. (8 yo girl (whose mom is on a tight budget) who is cold at swimming class and loves lime and blue).
I was going to write about size -
she is 50" (4'2")
Chest 22.5
Waist 22.5
Hips 25
Torso 42/43
But then I realized I better check avail. sizes since on sale. Don't see a medium. Any "in the back"? Any chance the S will work? She seems tall for small but the waist/ hips seem ok. Don't want it to ride up the back later this summer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
|
| Answer |
It seems like the only problem is the height, which might be uncomfortable at times, especially since she is still growing. But those are the only sizes we have, so I suggest either looking into another suit with a larger size option or give this a try and if it doesn't fit, just return it.

My daughters pool is indoors and they keep it about 82*. That is much to cold for her. I am looking for a suit that will keep her warm yet not give her too much buoyancy. Would this be a good fit for her?
|

This junior suit have little of neoprene on the front, most neoprene products have only little buoyancy and it wouldn't affect much. This suit is definitely a good fit for pool, just make sure you follow the size chart and find the best fits for your daughter.

| Question |
I have a daughter with Special Needs and I am trying to determine if the Junior Large would fit her? She is about 72 lbs and I think is closer to 32 in chest but probably 30 in hips. It is hard to get an accurate height but she isn't over 4'5". Would we do better trying an adult size or will the junior large work? If we get it and it doesn't work- can we return and get our money back?
|
| Answer |
Large should be ok. The height doesn't matter that much for a Shorty.
If you want something bigger, try XL on this one

If it doesn’t fit, you can send it back for exchange or refund.

|
| Question |
My daugters are 40 inches and 46 inches (4 and 6 y/o). Would they be an XS and XXS?
|
| Answer |
Ideally height for those sizes are:
XXS – 39in
XS – 43in
S – 47in
Because both of your daughters are in between XXS, XS and XS, S, we usually suggest our customers to go with bigger size on junior suits so they can use longer.
I would suggest you get XS for 4 years old and S for 6 years old. However it might be a little bit loose on her.
