Question	are these shoes/boots good for use with open heel swim fins and if not what can you recommend. looking for men sizes 1 and 12 and women sizes 5 and 8.5. ideally would like something that gives foot a little protection/padding.

Submited By: Patricia on 08/19/2009 I think these are the perfect boot! They are soooo comfortable & flexible and the rubber sole is thick enough to protect you from rough surfaces. The boot comes up high enough to protect your ankles as well. Just throw them in the washer... they wash up beautifully...no dryer, though. I had an almost identical pair that lasted for years and years. I hope these will do the same.
