The suit will be shorter, but it will fit better on you.

please recommend which size (L or XL) I should choose. I am going abroad soon and will need this wetsuit there.
I will have no time for the exchange and therefore, need to make the right choice at once.

Large is the best size you can try, but might not fit well.

This is a bit tricky since your chest measurement doesn't match our suit's design. I would recommend size XL but you may find it a bit too long while being tight in your chest area. One size up might be a bit loose on parts of the suit as well. Your best bet would just be to choose XL or 2XL and possibly find a place where they can modify it for you so it can match your body better.
