Like the 5mm version of this hood, for warmer water dives, this supple 3mm nylon lined hood with blind stitched construction has the solid warmth and protection you’d expect, with the fantastic maneuverability you don’t. It allows for a free range of underwater movements without straining, and features a long bib to limit water exchange, increase warmth, which can also be tucked neatly under your wetsuit for even more warmth.

Question Message: I ordered this as part of a combo order for my wife(order #127571-12/3/11). On this order I ordered 2 items for me, and 2 for the wife. The items to be returned were both for her. She is 5.5 and has very small feet(size 7) and a small head as she often needs Child size glasses and hats.

My wife could not get the socks on, and the size of the foot looked a size or two small if she could have gotten them on. We would be happy to exchange these or take a credit or refund.

As far as the hood is concerned, we ordered the largest size available-a Large due to the reviews and sizing guide. This item was the primary reason for our arriving at your site. This hood did not even come close to be able to fit over her head. I can't say any thing about the actual hood-to head size, but the neck was way to small to get over her head. (I couldn't even get it over the corner of my head!).
We were looking for something to provide neck warmth and prevent water down the neck of the wetsuit. Any ideas for an exchange for this? Can this be returned for credit/refund?

Question I used your chart for measuring the head diameter when ordering my hood. It is too small and strangles my neck. I realize this is a closeout item but I was hoping I could exchange it for a larger size. If it is possible please advise me on how to exchange this item. Any assistance would be appreciated. Is there an XXL available?

This hood will keep the water out! It has a seal around your face and a very well designed bib to tuck under your wetsuit to prevent any water form getting in.
