This thick 5mm nylon lined hood with blind stitched construction has the solid warmth and protection you’d expect, with the fantastic maneuverability you don’t. It allows for a free range of underwater movements without straining, and features a long bib to limit water exchange, increase warmth, which can also be tucked neatly under your wetsuit for even more warmth.

Answer	no they only keep you warm.

Question	How do you size the hood?
Answer	1) Use a flexible measuring tape 2) Measure around your head approximately 1 inch above your eyebrows and ears 3) If you fall between two sizes, go with the larger size XS 20-21 S 21-22 M 22-23 L 23-24 XL 24-25 XXL 25-26 For this hood, it is designed to be very skintight. Most of our customer would order a size larger for more comfort fit.

Hood was very tight. Ordered a large-didn't think my head was 'that big'. Might suggest ordering a size bigger than anticipated. Quality was very good.

This hood will keep the water out! It has a seal around your face and a very well designed bib to tuck under your wetsuit to prevent any water form getting in.
