Question	are these vests good for snorkeling in cold water - will they help keep us warm?
Answer	This vest is made of Polypropylene which is not particularly good for cold water. Depending on where you will be snorkeling, you should choose a neoprene vest, or even a thinner neoprene shorty.

Question	I need a vest but the chest/stomach must measure ( measured laying the vest flat) about 23-24 inches. With these vests made in china appparently (where every is slim) the measure for a lg size (middle are) 0f some vests are 16 inches. My hip measurement is 36 inches and I weight 173 lbs at 5'9. My stomach (too musch ice cream)is about 43 inches. What are the flat measures of this vest? Do I need to go to a extra large? Give me the word. Forrest
Answer	Just to confirm the sizes, you are 5'9, 173lbs, chest 23-24, waist 43, hip 36. If this is your measurement. Then we would recommend a Large to be skin tight, and a XL to be a bit loose. The waist is about 15 inches flat, and a XL is about 16 inches flat. But since the chest will be a bit loose, so the stomach part should get stretch out a bit.

Question	I am planning on using this to help stay warm during cold water lap swimming. My XL t shirts sometimes fit snug... will an XL be too small for me?
Answer	We usually tell our customer to get the same size as their polo shirt. So if you like your shirt to be tight, I would recommend the XL, or if you want it to be a little bit loose, then a size larger will be better.

Question	would you recomend for water skiing/barefooting?
Answer	Yes, it is recommend for water skiing and barefooting.

Question	I'm looking for a vest to wear for triathlon competion. I'm looking for a top with minimal drag. Would this work for me?
Answer	This should be ok.

Question	Are these men's sizes? what size do you recommend for teen boy at 130 pounds 5'10"?
Answer	Small should be good, but if you don’t want it to be too short buy medium.

Dear Seavenger,
The 3mm Neo-skin Vest is just something I was looking for, to keep me warm and also use the extra buoyancy while doing body surfing. I am however disappointed with the seizing of your vest, because your X-large seize is more like a medium seize and is just way to tight. Unfortunately it will become to costly to return the vest and I just will have to write it off. Disappointed, regards
