Submited By: RSS on 08/24/2010 This dry top snorkel was a replacement for an old inexpensive tube type snorkel that I had been using for years. This snorkel was on a special price and looked attractive so I got it. I use it for lap swim in the pool only so I did not want to invest a lot of money, I went to a local scube store and they tried to sell me a snorkel in the $50 to $60 range, their cheapest was about $30.00
This snorkel is good and serves the purpose, it is not extremely comfortable in the mouth and at times hurt the gum if not positioned right or when you bite hard. This one does not take any water and that is the good part, over all I am happy because the price was very reasonable and for my light use I cannot complain because it works well, If you are a scuba diver and dive often then of course you will look into some real fine equipment, for swimming pool light snorkelling consider getting this one.
