The product, 2.5mm Shorty nylon II stretchy neoprene was the first wet suit I have ever used. I purchased it to use primarily in a community pool in Hawaii. The water temperature can be as low as 68 degrees. I am very pleased with its performance in regards to keeping my body warm. I found that the suit allowed complete range of motion, so I did not have to alter any of my strokes. An unexpected benefit has been its buoyancy. I have received numerous positive comments from fellow pool swimmers about the style.
The purchase price could be easily justified the $15/week savings I have experienced by not swimming in a heated pool.
