Product Description

The Cressi Gara 2000 HF Freediving Fins are an ideal multi-purpose fin, perfect for what you might need in a variety of different diving excursions, especially spearfishing. Making great use of Cressi Sub’s patented three material design, they enable you to enjoy the best freediving experience possible. The Gara 2000s are great for anybody – casual through professionals, and are veterans of many competitions and record-breaking attempts.

Slightly stiffer than other fin models, they provide what one reviewer called “rocket-like propulsion." Allowing you to swim faster towards a fish, and achieve greater depth with fewer kicks, the Gara 200s give you the power to glide through the water and afford you a great shot at your prey, or provide that extra depth you’ve never achieved before.

The first fin in the world made by combining three different materials, a process that Cressi perfected and patented with this fin, which guarantees unsurpassable performance.

The blade is made from a special, incredibly reactive polypropylene, which is at the same time extremely light, and progressively charges up during the stride to take off like a spring at the exact moment the stride is inverted.

A soft elastomer anatomically wraps around the foot, blocking it with a comfortable bite, which guarantees perfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust.

A suitably solid copolymer hardens some critical zones of the foot, and is extended along the sides in two lateral stringers, which go halfway along the blade.

The function of these stringers, assisted by special raised bands on the bottom of the blade, is to regulate and harmonise the bending, at the same time protecting it from shocks and abrasions.

The fins are extraordinarily light compared to equivalent models of rubber footed fins and reduces the inertial masses to the minimum, to the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio.

This fin is designed for deep skin-diving, although some Scuba professionals and instructors appreciate it a great deal.

Question I fin for exercise. Five days a week I fin an aggressive 140-160 laps per day. I have been using ScubaPro Jet Fins but lately have developed an allergic reaction to the neoprene boots. So I am looking for a heavy, all rubber full foot fin that I can use either barefoot or with a Lycra sock. Any suggestions?
Answer We do suggest our collection of rubber full foot pocket fins:

Question I would like to get these fins but I want to get the 3.mm sock to wear with them. What size of sock would I need to get if I wear 9 tennis shoe or 8 1/2W boots. Also with this what size for fins 8/9 or 10/11.
Thanks,
Jeff

Answer We will recommend you to buy 8/9 if your shoes size is 8 1/2 to 9.

And for the socks, we recommend you size M of the following link product
