ABOUT INTERCHANGEABLE PRESCRIPTION LENSES FROM SEAVENGER.COM

We answered the need early-on for prescription mask lenses. A pioneer innovator in supplying prescription diving mask lenses, Seavenger.com offers a range of interchangeable lenses in clear, tinted and optical prescription choices including bi-focal diopters. These high-end lenses from manufacturers such as IST and Tilos can be fitted to a variety of different mask styles and facial profiles, including children. Clear lenses are made from super-transparent glass, and offer stunning panoramic underwater viewing, as well as gauge reader bifocal diopters available on select masks. Prescription lenses range from -1.0 to -8.0 for divers who are near-sighted, and +1.0 and 4.0 for those who are far-sighted. A selection of tinted lenses offer sharp clear vision and drastically reduced glare both on the surface, and underwater. You can order prescription optical lenses for most twin-lens masks and select goggles and bi-focals for the Hawk Eyes from Tilos.

ABOUT THIS MASK

A kid-friendly prescription-lens mask, the Junior Twingo is a smaller mask with all of IST’s quality built-in. A twin-lens low-profile design, the Junior Twingo features IST’s patented surgical quality silicone skirt which your kids will find noticeably softer than standard silicone. The Junior Twingo also has quick-adjust strap buckles attached to the skirt. Twingo Jr delivers on comfort and this, combined with its minimalistic construction, makes it an ideal mask for kids, and also smaller facial profiled adults.

Question	I need a presciption mask for my 9 year old daughter but I also need it tinted as dark as possible (polarized would be great but would take smoke colored lenses). Possible with the prescription lenses?

Question	my son is 6 and 41 lbs and 42" and uses a swim mask in the pool, I want to have him begin using a scuba mask . . . would this one or another one fit him?

Question	Is a lens available for someone with the following prescription: R -4.75 L -5.50
Answer	We are currently out of the lenses for kids, but we do have those in adult sizes.

Question	Would this fit my daughter who is 11 going on 12 and weighs about 95lbs. She need RX lenses as well?
Answer	Yes it will fit. RX lenses are for prescription, so if she has a report from an optometrist stating that she'll need it, you should get her RX lenses.

Question	How small is this mask? Would it fit a 10 years old boy? If not please advise which one would fit that has prescription lenses. Thanks, Gustavo

Answer	The frame width is about 5 3/4 in. Many of our customers with narrow face like this one.

Question	Hi, I am an Asian and has a flatter face. I am wondering if kids mask is something this may fits me better. Any advise?
Answer	Only if your face is smaller, otherwise you should still get the adult size mask.

As a short woman with a narrow face, I have had difficulty replacing my 20+ year mask (which was never a great fit but all that was available to me then). Most mask skirts these days are much wider and longer top to bottom. It took a couple of dives but I finally got settled in to this mask and like it very much. The skirt is soft and the fit is great.

The easily-adjusted straps aren't, though. My old mask could be adjusted with one hand underwater, and this one can only be tightened easily.

This is the third Twingo mask that I've purchased for our kids.
My 7yr old started using the first one when he turned 4. These
are quality diving masks for kids and I think it would still have
held up has we not lost it. My latest purchase is for my 10yr old
and we will use it drift snorkeling in Cozumel.

My purchase was the first made on Seavenger. I ordered on Thu
night and had the mask on Mon. So a thumbs up from me.
