Hi-Is this a 'professional' quality vest? My husband used to dive and is picky...also is it appropriate for seniors/out of shape swimmers for snorkeling?
Size help is also needed: I am 5'7'' at 170 and he is 5'10'' at 205. Thanks!

| Question |
I am going to Belize in April and we plan on doing a fair amount of snorkeling. I am not a very strong swimmer but also am not afraid of the water, just never got used to swimming. Would this type of product be recommended for that type of person, activity and experience level or is there something else that is more appropriate?
|
| Answer |
Actually, you chose a very high-quality snorkeling vest which should be very appropriate for the experience level, activity and destination you describe.

| Question |
I am considering purchasing the model LJ100 Snorkeling Vest but I have a few questions. First I am 5'6" tall and have about a 60" waist I weigh aprox. 280# and I am wondering if the Large size will fit me? Also what prevents the vest from coming up around your head when your in the water and not in the swimming position. Thank you for your prompt response to my question.
Best Regards
Peter G. Regan

| Answer |
The large size should fit you; the pattern and fastening system eliminates the need for crotch strap and is more comfortable without one.

Dear Mike,
Given your height, I would recommend a L on this vest, since the waist is adjustable.

| Question |
I am 5'4" 160 lbs 34" waist; my wife is 5'1" 150 lbs. 38" waist. We're used to the cheap vests handed out on snorkel trips in the Caribbean, which I doubt have as much buoyancy as even the LF200 has. Given our sizes, would we be best with the LJ100 medium?
Thanks,
Tom
|
| Answer |
Yes i would say a size M would do.

| Question |
Hi Seavenger guys,...
I just received my adult medium size snorkeling vest. I tried it. My waist is 31 inches - weight 140 pounds and 5 foot 7 inches tall. I am not abled to snug it at the waist. I am wondering what would happen in the water with a so loose vest on my chest. It is large at the chest under the shoulder. Will I have it over my neck? Is a medium size really fitting a 31 inches waist?
|
| Answer |
It shouldn't matter too much if the current won't be too bad. I'm not sure exactly how loose it is on you, but you can also exchange it for a kid's size, which is the next size down. You can check it out here: http://seavenger.com/snorkeling-vest-youth-p-521.html

| Question |
Hi - I have three questions. First, I am 1.84cm High with thin Waistline 84cm -
which of the two options in size will fit me best M or L?
Is it possible to write on the actual invoice amount of 50US$?
In one of the websites I have seen that if one buys in more than 100US$ - He is entitled to get booties is it still applicable?
Best Regards,
Tomer

| Question |
Looking to purchase wet suits from your company, but my husband and I have never had one on, so we don't know what size we would need. Closest dive location would be 75 miles one way. I am very interested in the reversible long suits you have. I am also interested in your front zipper snorkeling vest-adult. Are they supposed to fit snug. I own a "cruiser" vest, it fits VERY snug, not sure if my husband would like one to fit that tightly, but he likes the looks of your front zipper vest.
|
| Answer |
You can email us the measurements (at least Weight & Height) and we can help you with the wetsuit size or you can just follow the size chart under the product page.
The vest fit snug with adjustable waist. We never have customer complaint on this vest.
Size M: 30” ~ 52”
Size L: 34” ~ 62”
