My daughter is 9 and the goggles are -3 right and -1.5left. This isn't her exact prescription but her opthamologist said this would be good enough for just swimming. It really is. Only draw back is that I think they are just a tad to big for her face. It's all one unit in front so you can't adjust the nose bridge like some other goggles. This causes some water to leak in. Probably be perfect for an adult face. Still you can't beat the price and I bet by end of summer she grows into them.
