For this suit, if the pool is not too cold, it will work great, and the size you will need would be a 3XL . But please keep in mind, this suit is a dive skin, it will not keep you warm if the water temp is anywhere under 65F. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I have an indoor pool, the bottom of which is 12' below grade, so it stays about 60 degrees (10c). With heating costs becoming astronomical, I can no longer afford to heat it. I'm an old fart, and need the exercise, but I can't stand the cold. Is a wetsuit or triathlon suit an answer to my problem? If so what do I look for?

Yes, wetsuit will definitely will help, the thickness of the wetsuit you will need for pool at 60F is around 3mm to 5mm. The thicker the wetsuit is the warmer it will be, but also the thicker it gets it will have more movement restriction when you swim.
